Classes & Programs |
- Parent & Tot program is for children ages 22 months - 3 1/2
years. The parent is asked to assist in the familiarization of the child to a
new environment and join in the fun. These classes are 45 minutes in length
and are designed to develop gross motor skills and spatial awareness.
- Tiny-tots: Our tiny-tots program is designed for children
age 3. These classes are for children that can participate without their
parents assistance. The class length is 45 minutes.
- Preschool: The
preschool program is for children ages 3 1/2 - 4 1/2. The children are
introduced to the world of gymnastics through the use of specialized
equipment. Class length at this age extends to 55minutes.
- Kindergym:
These classes are for children ages 5-6 who attend kindergarten. The class
length is 55 minutes.
- Recreational: Our recreational program is for children ages
6 years and older. The classes provide the children with a strong foundation
of basic skills. Using these skills, they are given the opportunity to advance
in the sport to any level. These 1 hour classes are strictly non-competitive
and are designed solely for the enjoyment of learning gymnastics.

Definition of Skill Levels for
Recreational Classes |
- Newcomers: 1st year students with little or no formal
training.
Beginner I:
Floor; forward and backward rolls, cartwheel. Bars; pullover. Beam; kicks,
jumps, cartwheel dismount. Vault; squat on.
Beginner II: All of the above
and: Floor; handstand forward rolls, back extension roll, roundoff, bridge
kickover. Bars: cast back hip circle, sole circle dismount. Beam; rolls,
leaps, roundoff dismount. Vault; squat or straddle over.
Intermediate: All of the above and; back walk over, front
limber, working front and back handsprings, dive cartwheel. Bars; cast back
hip circle, sole circle dismount. Beam; turns, handstand, cartwheel. Vault;
handspring.
Advanced: All of the above and; Floor; roundoff back
handspring, front handspring. Bars; glide kip, front hip circle, working
flyaway. Beam; back walkovers, front handspring dismount. Vault; 1/2 on.
Registration
Registration can be made in person, or by filling our Online Registration
Form and mailing it in.
Enrollment Policy
Payment is made by session only. Each student must be fully paid and insured
before taking the first class of the session. If you wish to secure the same
class from a prior session, you must pay for that class at least two weeks
before the session begins. During the two weeks before the upcoming session we
will fill the classes with new students on a first come, first serve basis. Changing class time will depend on the availability of the class desired.

Tuition
Tuition is based on a ten week session (if entering class in the
middle of a session, fees will be prorated).

Teams ~ Monthly Rates
- Non-refundable annual registration fee pf $30.00 per child.
- There is a 10% discount (off tuition only) for the 2nd child in your
immediate family
- There are no cash refunds.
- Credit will be given for medical reasons only
- We would appreciate a 2 week notice if your child has decided not to
continue in the next session
Make-up Policy
One make-up is allowed per session (extended illnesses will be taken into
consideration). ALL MAKE-UPS MUST BE SCHEDULED THRU THE OFFICE. Make-ups must be
taken during the session they were missed.

| Dress Code GIRLS: Leotards, tights without feet. No shoes (with the exception of
gymnastic shoes), no clothing that contains buttons, snaps or zippers. No
jewelry of any kind. All long hair must be tied back and away from the face (no
head bands please). Tee shirts & shorts or sweats may be worn over leotards.
BOYS: Gym shorts and tee shirts, or sweat pants. No belts or shoes
(with the exception of gymnastic shoes).

- Thanksgiving: Nov. 23—26, 2006
- Winter recess: Dec. 24, 2006—Jan. 1, 2007
- Memorial Day: May 28, 2007

| Equipment At Rettig's Gymnastics Training Center we have men's and women's Olympic
equipment, trampoline and an in-ground loose foam pit. We have additional mats
and equipment that are designed to make learning easier and safer for preschool
and school age children.
Staff
The staff at Rettig's Gymnastics Training Center have an extensive background
in the sport of gymnastics. "We believe that learning never stops. Our
instructors attend conferences and clinics throughout the year to learn the
latest techniques and methods of teaching.
Safety Procedures and Risk of Injury
The owners and staff at Rettig's Gymnastics follow a curriculum for teaching
progressive gymnastics with safety as our first priority. The staff is U.S.A.
Gymnastic Safety Certified. We will not push them past their physical and
psychological ability. The student must be confident with the basics before we
will advance them to a more difficult skill.
Bad Weather
In case of bad weather, please call the gym for possible class cancellations.

| Birthday Parties Birthday parties are available on Saturdays and
Sundays for boys and girls from 3 to 12 years old. Make your next party a
gymnastics party at Rettig's Gymnastics! Please call for more information.

Showtime
Mark Your Calendars!Rettig's Gymnastics Annual end of the year class exhibition is a wonderful
time for our students to show off some of the skills they have
learned. All participants receive an award. This year's exhibition will
take place on June 10 2007.
